MHP MDK Chairman Alperen: “Our nation has shown the whole world that it will never compromise its freedom.”

Bahadır Alperen, the Chairman of the Central Discipline Board of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), stated that “Our glorious nation has shown to the whole world that, as it did in the past, it will repel all attacks with extraordinary heroism and patriotism whenever it sees its existence and independence threatened today and in the future, and that it will never compromise its independence and freedom, and it will exist forever in this geography alongside its country and nation.”

Bahadır Alperen, the Chairman of the Central Discipline Board of the Nationalist Movement Party, issued a message on the occasion of the Republic Day on October 29.

In his message, Alperen noted:
“Since the time of its existence, the glorious Turkish Nation, which has never submitted to captivity and impositions, started the War of Independence against those who aimed at its independence and future, and on October 29, 1923, with the motto ‘Sovereignty Unconditionally Belongs to the Nation’, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey proclaimed the republic based on national sovereignty to the whole world on behalf of our blessed nation.

Our esteemed nation has brought the last Turkish state to this day by uniting around the common feelings, national interests, and goals during the establishment of our Republic.

Just as in the past, our glorious nation will, in every situation where it sees its existence and independence threatened, repel all attacks with extraordinary heroism and patriotism, will never compromise its independence and freedom, and will show the whole world that it will exist forever in this geography alongside its country and nation.

Until today, our esteemed nation has resisted the treacherous ambitions of enemies attacking our country and homeland with the spirit of unity, solidarity, and brotherhood, and will continue to prevent and ultimately eliminate any attacks on its national and spiritual values with the same strength and determination.

Our duty is to forever protect our heavenly homeland and Republic, which is the legacy of our ancestors, and to leave a country for future generations that they will be proud of in every field.

As our esteemed General President Devlet Bahçeli stated, ‘I am fully confident that we will build the pillars of the Turkish Century and Turkey Century by living and perpetuating the thousand-year brotherhood together, it is indescribable and unrestricted. The Republic of Turkey, based on Turkish heroism and high Turkish culture, will exist forever, protected and safeguarded by the unparalleled struggles of those who love their homeland and nation.’ In line with this, we will continue to work with all our strength to make our homeland a leading country, Turkey, by uniting as a nation with the strength and heritage we derive from our history, our past, and our ancestors, to carry our Republic, which our Supreme Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk described as his greatest work, further forward.

With this belief and feelings; I commemorate with mercy, gratitude, and appreciation all our heroes who contributed to the establishment and survival of our Republic, especially the Founding Leader of our Republic, the Supreme Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and his comrades-in-arms, and I express my gratitude to our veterans, who are monuments of pride. Happy 101st Anniversary of our Republic, may it be a blessed Turkey Century.
