Personnel who have completed the commando course and have distinguished themselves in physical fitness and health are selected from among those who meet the standards set by the Gendarmerie Commando Special Operations Command through special exams and physical fitness tests. Our Gendarmerie Commando Special Operations Command continues its activities in accordance with the orders given by the Ministry of Interior and the Gendarmerie General Command within the scope of special operations, search and rescue in natural disasters, and counter-terrorism operations. They perform search and rescue, counter-terrorism operations, and special operation duties in natural disasters without regard to working hours all over our country. The Gendarmerie Commando Special Operations Command also uses parachute systems, special weapon equipment, tactics, and techniques. They have the capability and strength to successfully fulfill any task assigned to them,” she said.
Cingöz also added, “The Gendarmerie Commando Special Operations Command has enough personnel to successfully carry out the tasks entrusted to them in accordance with the orders given by the Ministry of Interior and the Gendarmerie General Command.
