The 7th Book Fair of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality has come to an end.

The 7th Denizli Book Fair, organized by the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality this year, has come to an end. Expressing great happiness at the intense interest shown in the fair attended by hundreds of authors and publishers, Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu thanked the citizens who participated in the fair that lasted for 10 days.

The Denizli Book Fair, which opened its doors on October 18, 2024, was held for the 7th time by the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality. The fair, which took place at the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Congress and Culture Center (EGS) Exhibition Area, was visited by hundreds of thousands of people of all ages over the course of 10 days. The fair, which featured renowned Turkish literature figure Ahmet Ümit as the guest of honor, included participation from Turkey’s most famous literary artists and authors, such as Coşkun Aral, Banu Avar, Cezmi Ersöz, Ayşe Kulin, Füsun Önal, Timur Soykan, and İclal Aydın. Famous authors, who met with their fans through signing days, interviews, and conferences, gave high marks to the fair. Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu noted that the fair achieved its purpose with 325 authors and 150 publishers attending, stating that literature and art came together in Denizli, and he thanked the citizens who participated in the fair that lasted for 10 days.

Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu indicated that the book fair received intense visitor traffic over its 10-day duration and expressed their satisfaction with this. Thanking the hundreds of publishers and authors present at the fair, Mayor Çavuşoğlu stated, “Hundreds of thousands of book lovers from Denizli and neighboring provinces met with books at our fair for 10 days. I thank all our guests who came to our fair. A book can change a person, and a person can change the whole world. With this motto, I wish to carry out many beautiful events together with the people of Denizli, guided by the light of science and in the footsteps of our Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.”
