President Cavusoglu; “The Republic City of Denizli”

In a message published on the occasion of October 29 Republic Day, President Çavuşoğlu stated, “In this beautiful journey we have embarked on, we will grow our love for ‘the Republic city of Denizli’ every passing day and build a Denizli and Turkey where our people are happy.”

Denizli Metropolitan Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu published a message on the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey, which is a symbol of national sovereignty. He explained that on October 29, 1923, with the constitutional amendment proposal of the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the form of government of the state was declared as a Republic. President Çavuşoğlu said, “Despite all difficulties and hardships, the National Struggle won against seven adversaries was entrusted to the will of the nation, and the Republic was declared 101 years ago. Today, our greatest duty is to protect our Republic with its accumulations and values and to carry it further.”

Stating that they celebrated the Republic, which has turned 101 years old, with enthusiasm and joy worthy of its name, President Çavuşoğlu noted, “Our Republic, founded on Atatürk’s revolutions and principles, will continue to exalt in bright tomorrows. No matter how insurmountable the conditions may be, nurturing hope with the values we possess without giving up will again be with us, the lovers of the Republic. Because, like Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms, we will never say ‘I’. In this beautiful journey we have embarked on, we will grow our love for ‘the Republic city of Denizli’ every passing day and build a Denizli and Turkey where our people are happy.”

Emphasizing Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s words, “We established the Republic; you will continue it,” President Çavuşoğlu stated: “Undoubtedly, our nation will sustain it forever with the strength and courage it derives from the achievements of the Republic. With these feelings and thoughts, I respectfully remember all the comrades-in-arms and founding Assembly members, especially the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who gifted us this beautiful Republic, and I sincerely celebrate the 29 October Republic Day of our nation.”
