ALKU Rector Prof. Dr. Türkdoğan: “We will continue our vision of being a pioneer in science.”

The Rector of Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ), Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan, stated in a statement made on the occasion of the October 29th Republic Day, “We will continue our vision of being a pioneer in education and science in the 101st year of our Republic.”

Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan, the Rector of Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ), published a message on the occasion of the 29th of October Republic Day, which marks the 101st year of the Republic. In his message, Rector Türkdoğan said, “October 29 is the day when our exalted nation, filled with a history of glory and honor, declared our Republic, which is a management of virtue and integrity, after its epic and honorable struggle against the enemy. The War of Independence, in which the Turkish society reached victory with an unparalleled determination and will throughout history, is a historical proof of how resolute our nation is in its struggle for independence and that the lands of our homeland cannot be divided. Under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, we proudly celebrate the 101st anniversary of our Republic, which is the most important manifestation of the unity and solidarity of our nation, as we fought for independence on our homeland. The Republic has enabled a society where science, art, and thought can develop freely while also bringing a governance approach that respects the rights and freedoms of every individual. As a university that acts with this understanding, we will move forward with determined steps to serve our country and nation in the light of science.

In the 101st year of our Republic, we will continue our vision of being a pioneer in education and science. As Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University, we enthusiastically bear the responsibility of building the bright future of the Republic through scientific production, education, and innovations. We commemorate with mercy and gratitude all our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for independence, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades who laid the foundations of the Republic, and I extend my endless gratitude to our veterans who showed sacrifice for our homeland. We will preserve and elevate this precious legacy entrusted to us forever. With the pride of being 101 years old, I sincerely celebrate October 29th Republic Day on behalf of the Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University family and our esteemed nation.”
