The enthusiasm of the Republic engulfed Gaziantep College Foundation.

The stunning events organized at Gaziantep College Foundation Private Schools within the framework of the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Republic are dazzling.

A series of events are being held at Gaziantep College Foundation Private Schools to celebrate the 101st anniversary of the Republic of Turkey with enthusiasm. Fevzi Gürsel, the General Manager of Gaziantep College Foundation Private Schools, made an evaluation on the subject, stating, “We are celebrating the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey with great enthusiasm, happiness, and pride in all units of Gaziantep College Foundation Private Schools, just like across the country. The Republic is a proud work of determination and resolve to create a strong Turkey that has reached the level of contemporary civilization, despite all kinds of difficulties and shortages, embodying the unity and solidarity, independence and freedom love that exists in the essence of our nation. The Republic is the expression of our nation’s rebirth under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK on the burned, destroyed, and occupied homeland. The Republic, where sovereignty is entrusted unconditionally to the will of the nation; means equality, freedom, peace, and brotherhood in every corner of the country. As a nation, we must raise young people who feel the responsibility of the historical heritage we inherited from our ancestors, comprehend the present, and possess knowledge and wisdom that illuminate the future. With these feelings and thoughts; we remember with mercy the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, all the heroes of our Independence War, and all our martyrs who have become immortal in the hearts of our nation with their unique sacrifices; and we also express our gratitude to our heroic veterans.”

Festive celebrations have begun at GKV Private Schools

Fevzi Gürsel continued his evaluations, stating, “As part of the activities for October 29th Republic Day, our kindergarten, primary school, middle school, and high schools, which continue educational activities under our institution, are celebrating our Republic Day with various activities. We aim to spread our celebrations over a wide time frame to ensure that this enthusiasm continues and that our students get to know the values of our Republic more closely, embracing these values to ensure the Republic lives on forever. In this context, alongside various sports activities, we are trying to share the enthusiasm of our nation with events such as the Republic Ball, Republic Parade, and various outdoor shows, as well as exhibitions, talks, and finally indoor celebrations. I would like to thank especially our students, teachers, administrators, and our valued parents who have contributed greatly to the organization.”

The events will continue throughout the week

As part of the celebrations for the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Republic, various sports activities are being held on the campus of Gaziantep College Foundation Private Schools, along with the Republic Ball and beautiful pieces performed by the student choir. In the Republic Parade, students displayed a magnificent march in the schoolyard, waving Turkish flags accompanied by marches. It has been learned that the events will continue throughout the week.
