Celal Kadooğlu, the President of the Southeastern Anatolia Grains, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Exporters’ Association, published a message to celebrate the Republic Day on October 29.
President Celal Kadooğlu stated that it is everyone’s duty to stand by the Republic, which is a common achievement of our nation, and said, “We are experiencing the pride and happiness of celebrating the 101st anniversary of our Republic, which was established after the unique victory led by Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, achieved through great sacrifices despite all kinds of deprivation and poverty of our nation. Long live the Republic.”
Emphasizing the importance of the saying of the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, “Peace at Home, Peace in the World,” President Celal Kadooğlu remarked, “We live in a world where blood and tears are never absent. In many parts of the world, especially in Gaza, winds of war are blowing. In such an environment, we better understand the significance of Atatürk’s words, ‘War is a crime if the life of the nation is not under threat.’ We understand better the importance of independence, democracy, fundamental rights and freedoms, and living together in peace and brotherhood. Therefore, our greatest duty is to hold tightly to the Republic and its achievements and pass them on to future generations more strongly. The way to protect and strengthen our Republic is to work harder. Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s words, ‘The one who loves his homeland the most is the one who does his duty best,’ should guide everyone, and we must work tirelessly and without weariness for this country.”
In his message, Kadooğlu also stated, “With these feelings and thoughts; I commemorate with mercy our Commander-in-Chief of the War of Independence, the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his heroic comrades-in-arms, and our martyrs, and I congratulate our nation’s Republic Day on October 29.”
