Magnificent Republic Day Concert in Osmangazi

Osmangazi Municipality hosted a magnificent concert as part of the celebrations for the October 29 Republic Day. Emir Can İğrek, who took the stage at the concert held in Osmangazi Square, provided an unforgettable evening for his fans with the songs he performed.

Osmangazi Municipality continues to celebrate the 101st anniversary of the October 29 Republic Day with a variety of special events. At the concert held in Osmangazi Square, the rising star of Turkish pop music, Emir Can İğrek, brought an evening full of excitement to the people of Osmangazi. Hundreds of people, waving Turkish flags, sang along to the songs and had a great time during the nearly 2-hour concert. İğrek, who performed his popular songs in front of an enthusiastic crowd, celebrated the October 29 Republic Day with all of Turkey. İğrek also condemned the recent terrorist attack on TUSAŞ, wishing mercy for the martyrs and urgent healing for the injured.

Osmangazi Mayor Erkan Aydın, who watched the concert with citizens, took the stage with his wife Nadire Aydın to present flowers and a plaque to the famous artist. In his speech, Mayor Aydın stated that he commemorates those who became martyrs in the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ with mercy, gratitude, and respect, saying, ‘May our martyrs rest in paradise. May God give urgent healing to our injured. We will never give passage to terrorists who want to divide our country. We are celebrating the 101st anniversary of our Republic with great enthusiasm in the squares, concert areas, and streets. Hopefully, we will celebrate many more 101 years. The Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk said, ‘We established the Republic, and you are the ones who will sustain it.’ Now I ask the thousands of young people filling the square, ‘Are you ready to sustain the Republic forever, as Atatürk said?’

Upon the citizens responding with ‘Yes’, Mayor Aydın said, ‘If you are here, we have been here since yesterday. Happy 101st anniversary of our Republic. Hopefully, we will celebrate many more Republic Days together. I also extend my thanks to Emir Can İğrek for giving us an exciting evening.’

Among the attendees of the concert were CHP Bursa Provincial Chairman Nihat Yeşiltaş and CHP Party Member Canan Taşer, who also experienced the joy of the October 29 Republic Day with thousands of people from Osmangazi.
