Flag change at the Faculty of Theology

A change of management has occurred in the Faculty of Theology at Bursa Uludağ University (BUÜ). Prof. Dr. Adem Apak has been appointed as the Dean of the Faculty.

Prof. Dr. Ali Kaya, who has served as the Dean of the Faculty of Theology for the past 3 years, has been succeeded by Prof. Dr. Adem Apak. The handover ceremony was attended by BUÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Cafer Çiftci, Prof. Dr. İrfan Kırıştıoğlu, and Prof. Dr. Zekariyya Arı, former Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim Kılavuz, faculty administrators, and academics.

During the ceremony, Rector Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz thanked everyone who served in the previous administration for their successful work. He stated that the appointments are a change of duty, saying, “During the term, we worked harmoniously with our teacher Prof. Dr. Ali Kaya. We are making every effort to climb to higher ranks in the rankings of research universities in the coming years. The efforts of our Faculty of Theology are very important in this regard. We wish Prof. Dr. Adem Apak and his team great success in the new term.”

Prof. Dr. Ali Kaya, who has held the deanship for the past 3 years, thanked all his team members and the upper management who contributed to his work. Kaya noted that the primary focus of the deanship was to ensure internal peace and achieve academic success, stating, “We had a beautiful term. I thank everyone who helped us during this process. I wish success to Professor Adem in the upcoming period.”

The new Dean of the Faculty of Theology, Prof. Dr. Adem Apak, also expressed his gratitude to everyone who deemed him worthy of this position. Apak emphasized that as a team, they would make every effort to take the flag they inherited to much higher levels in the new term.
