A cooperation protocol has been signed between Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBÜ) and the Turkey Youth Foundation (TÜGVA) for the certification of the training to be provided to university youth within the framework of the foundation’s ‘Specialization Academy Project’.
The protocol was signed by Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sarıbıyık and TÜGVA Vice President Burak Sarman. With this protocol, a verifiable certificate will be provided through the e-government system for the trainings organized by the Specialization Academy, and these certificates can be verified by the SUBÜ Lifelong Learning Application and Research Center (SAYEM). TÜGVA aims to provide university students with knowledge beyond free academic training, develop social awareness, create effective cooperation opportunities, and mobilize efforts for contributions to the literature with the ‘Specialization Academy Project’.
Expressing happiness in supporting the beneficial activities of non-governmental organizations, SUBÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sarıbıyık stated, “The university is the last step that prepares our youth for the future in every sense. The moral, social, theoretical, and skill gains they will achieve here have a direct impact on their lives. In this respect, we are always in favor of supporting the goodwill efforts of non-governmental organizations. The ‘Specialization Academic Project’ that TÜGVA is working on and developing is a project that can directly touch students. Gaining competence in certain fields while still in university years is very important. With the protocol we signed, we will provide certificate support for the trainings of the Specialization Academy. Thus, we will contribute to the development and careers of our students,” he said.
Best wishes to our youth
Emphasizing that Turkey has entered a new century and aims to achieve significant gains with the strength and efforts of its people in this century, TÜGVA Vice President Burak Sarman stated, “In this direction, as a civil society organization, we strive to contribute to our country and specifically to our youth in every way, to ensure their development, and to convey our historical, cultural, and religious heritage that has been distilled over centuries in the best way possible. In this sense, we are working to make the Specialization Academy Project, which we have developed to contribute to the academic and professional development of our university youth, more effective and to produce an output. We are grateful to SUBÜ and our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sarıbıyık for positively responding to our cooperation proposal and signing a protocol with us to certify our trainings. May God grant us beneficial results for our country and our youth through this collaboration.”
