Little students in Beylikdüzü celebrated the spirit of October 29.

The celebrations for the Republic Day on October 29th have begun in Beylikdüzü. The children attending the Daycare Centers in the district prepared poetry and dance performances themed around Atatürk and the Republic, providing colorful moments for the audience. Speaking at the event, Beylikdüzü Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık stated, “We see that the importance of the Republic Day on October 29th is becoming better understood by our nation every day. It is extremely important for our children to grow up as conscious citizens for the future of the Republic. Therefore, working for our children is our top priority.”
The Republic Day celebrations started in Beylikdüzü. The poetry and dance performances prepared by the students attending the Daycare Centers in the district, themed around Atatürk and the Republic, created colorful scenes. Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık, who participated in the event, shared the festive spirit by singing marches with the children. In his speech on stage, Çalık emphasized that the Republic is entrusted to the children and expressed his belief that the younger generations will shape the future. Mayor Çalık said, “We see that the importance of the Republic Day on October 29th is becoming better understood by our nation every day. It is extremely important for our children to grow up as conscious citizens for the future of the Republic. Therefore, working for our children is our top priority.”
“We have increased the number of our daycare centers to 11 in Beylikdüzü”
In his speech, Mayor Çalık also addressed the importance of women’s participation in the workforce, stating that by increasing daycare facilities, women can both participate in employment and raise strong individuals. Mayor Çalık stated, “Having women play a stronger role in business life is one of the fundamental ways to enrich society,” and he indicated that Beylikdüzü Municipality continues to support this area by increasing the number of daycare centers. He also mentioned that they have increased the number of daycare centers in the district to 11 in the last five years, saying, “Currently, we serve over a thousand of our children, and we aim to increase this number even further. The more children we reach, the stronger we will make our future.” Mayor Çalık also thanked the teachers and management staff working in the daycare centers and took plenty of souvenir photos with the little students at the end of the program. The events organized by Beylikdüzü Municipality will continue to share the joy of the Republic Day with children and their families.
