Kastamonu University hosted the YÖK (Higher Education Council) meeting.

The Interuniversity Council (ÜAK) management board meeting was hosted by Kastamonu University. The meeting discussed the council’s activities.

The Interuniversity Council (ÜAK) management board meeting, hosted by Kastamonu University, took place in the Senate Hall. The meeting was chaired by the 43rd Term President of ÜAK and the Rector of Afyon Kocatepe University, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karakaş, and was attended by ÜAK Management Board members and ÜAK representatives. In his opening speech, the Rector of Kastamonu University, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal, expressed his pleasure at hosting ÜAK Management Board members and representatives in Kastamonu and thanked them. The 43rd Term President of ÜAK, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karakaş, also thanked Rector Topal for their hospitality.

During the ÜAK Management Board meeting, the current activities and agenda items of the Interuniversity Council were discussed. Additionally, the existing projects of the universities and recent developments encountered in higher education were evaluated. After the meeting, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Topal hosted the ÜAK Management Board members at the Rectorate and provided information about Kastamonu University’s activities. Rector Topal emphasized the importance of potential collaborations with universities, highlighting the academic projects, research activities, and student-centered services carried out by Kastamonu University. He also drew attention to the historical and cultural richness of Kastamonu province, providing information about the region’s natural beauties and traditional values.
