Erdogan: “We are waiting for God’s wrath upon them.”

President Erdoğan attended the key delivery ceremony of disaster housing in Hatay, during which he addressed the public, conveyed his get well wishes to Iran due to the Israeli attacks, and wished for God’s wrath upon Israel.

The key delivery ceremony for 29,311 disaster housing units constructed by TOKİ in 11 provinces affected by the earthquakes on February 6 was held in the Gülderen Housing Estates of Antakya, Hatay. At the ceremony attended by President Erdoğan, 7,856 units were delivered in Hatay, 6,759 in Malatya, 5,259 in Gaziantep, 3,135 in Kahramanmaraş, 3,108 in Adıyaman, 1,310 in Osmaniye, 648 in Adana, 641 in Diyarbakır, 569 in Elazığ, 9 in Kilis, and 17 in Şanlıurfa. With the newly delivered houses, the total number of delivered residences and workplaces has reached 130,565.

“The 10-year period of stagnation has ended”

In his speech during the key delivery ceremony, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that Hatay has been rescued from its 10-year period of stagnation, saying, “Hatay, the symbol city of our human and cultural richness, will now be an example in municipal services. On March 31, we will together take Hatay, which we have rescued from a 10-year period of stagnation, to much better places. Remember, we are not among those who say ‘no votes, no services’; whether they vote for us or not, we will be among those who provide services to all our brothers and sisters in Hatay. My brothers from Hatay should know very well that we do not practice othering; we do not classify people based on their origin, beliefs, or views. What matters to us is the appreciation of our nation, their love, and receiving their good prayers.”

“By the end of 2025, 452,958 housing units, workplaces, and barns will be delivered”

In his speech, Erdoğan expressed that by the end of 2025, 452,958 housing units, workplaces, and barns would be delivered, stating, “Today, we are drawing lots for a total of 29,311 homes to be delivered to their rightful owners in Hatay, with 7,856 units, 6,759 in Malatya, 5,259 in Gaziantep, 3,135 in Kahramanmaraş, 3,108 in Adıyaman, 648 in Adana, 641 in Diyarbakır, 569 in Elazığ, 17 in Şanlıurfa, 9 in Kilis, and 1,310 in Osmaniye. Thus, we are experiencing the joy of delivering the keys to our 130,000th disaster housing to those affected by the earthquake. I wish our new homes to be beneficial for our earthquake-affected brothers and sisters, for our families and children. My brothers, we have a total of 152,959 rightful owners in Hatay. In our eleven provinces, there are a total of 442,709 rightful owners. By the end of this year, we will deliver the keys to another 201,688 homes and workplaces. By the end of 2025, we will have delivered 452,958 housing units, workplaces, and barns. No rightful owner will be left without entering their home in the earthquake zone. I want to say this very clearly: We are not among those who forget the promises made in the squares once they come to power. We are a government that is loyal to its promises, commitments, and the promises made to the nation. If we say we will do something, we will do it unless there is an obstacle from God.”

“We think a thousand times before we speak”

In his address, Erdoğan emphasized that the eternal brotherhood of ethnic groups living in Turkey cannot be undermined, stating, “Let everyone see and understand this. Neither the terrorist barons who feed on blood and tears, nor the pawns of imperialism who set their eyes on Hatay, nor the terrorist states that want to drown our region in blood and fire can deter us from our vision of a century of Turkey. Turkey is a very large state. We evaluate issues not with the half-century or quarter-century experience of others, but with a deep memory that surpasses this 2200-year process. We think a thousand times before we speak. As a government and an alliance, we consider everything in the finest detail before taking a step. By overcoming the obstacles before us and dismantling the traps set, we walk towards our goals with firm steps. By utilizing all the tools and resources available in our country, we will undoubtedly build a Turkey where there is no terrorism, no violence, and where peace, democracy, and brotherhood prevail. For many more centuries on this land, Turks, Kurds, Arabs, Alevis, and Sunnis will live together as 85 million brothers. Our unity and solidarity as a nation are the antidote to all treachery, all villainy, and all sabotage attempts. Terrorist organizations will not be able to use us as a tool. They will not reach their goals. They will not shake our internal front. They will not be able to set traps on our eternal and unbreakable brotherhood. They will not be able to sow seeds of discord among us. They will not be able to prevent us from being Turkey together. They will not be able to break our brotherhood.”

He wished for God’s wrath upon Israel

In his speech, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered his get well wishes to Iran, which was targeted by Israeli aggression, and concluded his speech with the following words: “I send my get well wishes to our neighbor Iran and the Iranian government, which was targeted by Israeli aggression last night. The Zionist Israeli government, spoiled by the Western powers, is trying to ignite the fuse of regional conflict with such actions. It is extremely important not to fall for the game of Israel and its supporters. Israel will not get anywhere with this understanding and this mindset. Our prayer is this: O Allah, for the sake of Your attribute Al-Qahhar, we await Your wrath upon them.”
