Yüreğir Agricultural Chamber will take its place at the Agriculture Fair.

Mehmet Akın Doğan, the President of Yüreğir Agricultural Chamber, emphasized the agricultural potential of Çukurova and the contribution of regional agriculture to economic development, stating that agriculture is a vital sector for Çukurova.

The Yüreğir Agricultural Chamber, participating in the Adana Agriculture and Greenhouse & Garden Fair held at Tüyap Adana International Fair and Congress Center from October 30 to November 3, 2024, aims to promote the region’s rich agricultural product diversity and sustainable agricultural practices. The Yüreğir Agricultural Chamber aims to showcase the agricultural strength of the region to national and international visitors by introducing products grown in Çukurova’s fertile lands, such as citrus fruits, avocado, banana, dragon fruit, watermelon, sugar cane, peanuts, cotton, pecan nuts, dates, pomegranate, papaya, pepino, and kiwano.

President Mehmet Akın Doğan stated that Çukurova is one of the most important regions in Turkey in terms of agricultural production, saying, “Agriculture is the livelihood of thousands of families in our region, and events like this fair contribute to the growth of the agricultural sector and introduce our farmers to modern agricultural techniques.” Doğan noted that the fair provides an important platform for information sharing, collaboration, and following innovations in the agricultural sector.

The rich agricultural products of Çukurova are being promoted to visitors.

President Doğan said, “This year at the fair, we are showcasing our products that contribute to the development of regional agriculture and sharing information about modern agricultural techniques and innovative practices with our farmers. Participating in the fair is an important opportunity for the promotion of our products.”

President Doğan highlighted that the Adana Agriculture and Greenhouse & Garden Fair offers a significant collaboration platform for farmers, agricultural experts, and agricultural businesses, stating, “This fair is an important opportunity not only for product promotion but also for strengthening collaborations in the sector. Our farmers have the chance to gain knowledge here and collaborate with other stakeholders in the sector.”

Doğan mentioned that as the Yüreğir Agricultural Chamber, they provide agricultural consultancy services, information about sustainable production techniques, and modern agricultural practices at the fair, inviting all agricultural sector producers and workers to visit the fair.
