Digital support for 10,000 students in Menemen

Menemen Municipality, known for its exemplary investments in education and support for students, distributed a total of 10,000 digital education packages to all 8th and 12th-grade students and teachers. Menemen Mayor Aydın Pehlivan stated, “Our biggest investment is in our children, who are the guarantee of our future.”

With its student and education-focused projects, Menemen Municipality continues to accelerate its investments in this area. In this context, just like in the previous academic year, digital education packages were distributed this year to all 8th and 12th-grade students in the district, as well as to graduates preparing for exams at MEBGEM and their teachers. The digital education packages, totaling around 10,000, bring classroom instruction and practice exams directly into homes.

No stopping in education investments

Since the appointment of Menemen Mayor Aydın Pehlivan, there has been a veritable educational mobilization in the district. In this context, the opening of Ulukent Kindergarten, the establishment of the third branch of MEBGEM with enhanced facilities and capacity, 1,000 Turkish lira educational support for all students from the first grade of primary school to the last grade of high school, 5,000 Turkish lira support for young people who have just been accepted into university, university students, and recent graduates from Menemen, covering the university entrance exam fees by Menemen Municipality, and the ongoing construction of the two largest libraries in the Aegean region in Menemen are all highly praised initiatives. Additionally, in addition to academic success, contributions to the development of children and youth are also being made through sports and cultural courses.

“No student will be left alone”

Menemen Mayor Aydın Pehlivan emphasized that with the digital education packages, no student in Menemen will be left alone during the preparation phase for exams, stating, “We are making our biggest investment in our children, who are the guarantee of our future. We have mobilized many of our municipality’s resources to prepare them for life in the best possible way, and we will continue to do so. Our greatest wish is to see that the contributions we make to education are beneficial for both Menemen and our country in the future.”
