In the Siverek district of Şanlıurfa, 700 students held a choreography event to commemorate the 101st anniversary of the Republic. The 700 students studying at Siverek Şehit Ali Öztürk Anatolian High School performed this event as part of the celebrations for October 29 Republic Day.

700 students studying at Siverek Şehit Ali Öztürk Anadolu High School formed the number 101 with their choreography as part of the celebrations for the October 29 Republic Day. The students, celebrating the 101st year of the Republic, later unfurled the Turkish flag in the area and shouted, “Long live the Republic!”
School Principal Şeyhmus Yeniköy stated, “Last year, due to the 100th anniversary of our Republic, we carried out a project with our students for the 100th year. This year, we wanted to celebrate the 101st anniversary of our Republic with such an initiative. Hopefully, we will celebrate our Republic for many more years to come. Today, we held a beautiful event with 700 students through choreography. I thank all the teachers and students who supported us in this wonderful effort. Hopefully, we will celebrate the anniversaries of our Republic’s founding for many more centuries.”
A 10th-grade student participating in the event said, “We are celebrating the 101st year of our Republic with joy and happiness. With this activity, we celebrated this beautiful day. Happy 101st year of our Republic!”
Physical Education Teacher Mehmet Lektemur remarked, “We organized a large-scale event with our teachers and students. We carried out such an organization for the 101st anniversary celebration of our Republic with our students. I thank everyone who contributed to this effort.”
One of the students, Şeyhmus Ertaş, also stated, “On the occasion of the 101st year of our Republic, we did a choreography project with a group of 700 friends. It went well and was successful. I thank all our teachers and fellow students.”
