In Ankara, training will be provided to students within the scope of the “Cyber Homeland Program Cyber Security Training Cooperation” in collaboration with the Ankara Development Agency and Gazi University. 40 students who qualify for face-to-face training will receive deeper and technical training in subfields of cyber security.
The Western Black Sea Development Agency launched the Cyber Homeland Program in 2019 to train qualified human resources in the field of cyber security. The program, which was nationalized under the coordination of the General Directorate of Development Agencies of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, was transformed into the Development Agencies Cyber Homeland Program, enabling its spread across the country. The program aims to increase university students’ awareness of Turkey’s need for cyber security experts and to identify potential talents, promoting and supporting their career planning in the field of digital and cyber security technologies through training and skill development activities.
Applications for the program in Ankara will be accepted until 23:59 on Sunday, November 10. Students whose applications are accepted as a result of the evaluations made by the Ankara Development Agency will be directed to the Cyber Homeland Hackviser Platform. After the acceptance process, students are required to complete the online training and tasks on the platform (Linux, network training) within a period of 15 days. Students who successfully complete the tasks on the Hackviser Platform will be subject to an exam, and 40 successful students will qualify for face-to-face training. Students will participate in three trainings at Gazi University, each lasting 5 days: CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) training, web security training, and reverse engineering training. Students participating in technical trainings and applications as part of the Cyber Homeland Program will be directed to teams created for deeper and technical training in subfields of cyber security. In the Cyber Homeland Bootcamp event, there will be 10 days of in-depth and technical training, tasks and applications, reverse engineering studies, scenario-based exercises, and competitions.
