An award ceremony was held by Fırat University for students and academics who ranked in Elazığ at the TEKNOFEST 2024 and ISIF’24 Invention Fair.
During the ceremony held in the Prof. Dr. Mustafa Temizer Conference Hall, certificates of appreciation were given to university and high school students, academics, and teachers who achieved degrees in Elazığ. The ceremony was attended by Fırat University Rector Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Göktaş, Deputy Governor Armağan Yazıcı, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mahmut Doğru, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Yılmaz, National Education Director Mehmet Yiğit, Youth and Sports Provincial Director Abdulsamet Eren, Industry and Technology Director Mustafa Yavuztürk, students who ranked in the competitions, and their advisors.
In his speech at the program, Fırat University Rector Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Göktaş emphasized that the government has great expectations from universities in recent years and stated that they continue to provide all necessary support to academics and students for the contribution of Fırat University to the development of Turkey to increase and continue. Rector Prof. Dr. Göktaş also congratulated the academics who earned medals at ISIF 2024 and the students who ranked at TEKNOFEST.
Deputy Governor Armağan Yazıcı stated that in the century of Turkey, we need to put all our efforts into supporting our youth in every aspect with TÜBİTAK competitions and TEKNOFEST competitions, in order to raise a productive generation that produces significantly under the light of science.
After the speeches, certificates of appreciation were presented to those who ranked in the ISIF’24 Invention Fair competition held within TEKNOFEST 2024 and in TEKNOFEST 2024 competitions.
