The GSB investments in Korkut are waiting for the youth and children.

The investments made by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the Korkut district of Muş are supporting the socialization of the youth in the district and helping them to stay away from bad habits.

In the last two years, the youth center, indoor sports hall, and district stadium constructed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports have been opened for the use of the youth in the district, with all personnel and furnishings completed by the Muş Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports. Thanks to the newly established facilities, the residents of the district now have places where they can spend their time more effectively.

In this context, Korkut District Governor Orhan Ayaz and Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Mehmet Arif Taşdemir visited the facilities in the district and received information from the District Youth and Sports Director about the current status of the facilities. Governor Ayaz stated that the investments brought to the district by the Ministry of Youth and Sports add value to the district and said, “We visited the investments made in the field of Youth and Sports in our Korkut district together with our Provincial Director of Youth and Sports and our district director. These investments will add value to our district. Hopefully, we will ensure that our youth benefit from these facilities in a beautiful way. We will continue our efforts to ensure these facilities are used efficiently. We express our gratitude to everyone who contributed to the realization of these facilities on behalf of our district. We hope to further enhance the services here.”

Provincial Director Taşdemir, who made a statement regarding the visit, emphasized that with the sports and youth investments implemented in all districts, children and youth can access the fields they are interested in. He stated, “Our Ministry of Youth and Sports has built facilities in 5 of our districts, especially in Muş province. Currently, our youth and children in our sports halls in 5 districts and Muş center are receiving training in various branches such as swimming, karate, wrestling, taekwondo, volleyball, basketball, football, and boxing under the guidance of our coaches. Thanks to these facilities, our children and youth have the opportunity to comfortably engage in the sports branches they are interested in. Additionally, citizens of all age groups who participate in the courses we offer in our youth centers can socialize here. They have the opportunity to develop themselves by taking part in the courses we have opened in various fields. We hope to beautify the decent and comfortable spaces we have created for our citizens in the coming period. I invite all our youth to fill our youth centers.”
