The Winter Sports Schools initiated by the Bayraklı Municipality bring together sports enthusiasts of all ages, offering an enjoyable and productive experience. With courses designed for children, youth, and adults, participants achieve physical development while also learning teamwork. The training sessions conducted by expert instructors continue to promote sports culture in Bayraklı.

The winter sports schools organized by the Bayraklı Municipality’s Sports Affairs Directorate ensure that participants stay active all year round. This project aims to enhance the sports culture in the district, bringing together thousands of people with sports each year. This year, courses in 18 different branches are heating up the winter months with sports. In addition to team sports like basketball, volleyball, and football, training is offered in many other branches such as badminton, karate, taekwondo, table tennis, wrestling, gymnastics, ballet, athletics, Zumba, Pilates, aerobics, yoga, kickboxing, and tennis. For individuals with special needs, table tennis, dance, corn hole, and basketball courses continue without interruption. Those wishing to participate in the Winter Sports Schools can register at the Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Sports Facility, which is under the Bayraklı Municipality’s Sports Affairs Directorate. For detailed information, interested individuals can call 0232 477 20 44 or 0232 371 23 00.

Bayraklı Mayor İrfan Önal emphasized the importance of spreading sports, stating, “We care about our youth and children taking steps towards a healthy future. We will implement projects that will always connect them with sports. We invite all sports enthusiasts to the courses we organize in our winter sports schools.”
