One of the 4 provincial governorships in our country that holds the ‘TS-EN-ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certificate’ is the Erzurum Governorship, which has shared its mission, vision, and policy that must be prepared in accordance with the system.

The Erzurum Governorship received the ‘TS-EN-ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certificate’ due to the services it provides to citizens and the quality working environment it offers to its employees. The governorship stated its mission prepared under the quality management system as follows: “The Erzurum Governorship, in coordination and cooperation with relevant public administrations, ensures the safety and order of the province with its affiliated institutions and organizations; protects the rights and freedoms enshrined in the Constitution, public order and general morality; ensures that every individual living in our province equally benefits from innovative education and health activities based on high technology; fulfills the duties and services related to population and citizenship; carries out the necessary local investments of the central administration when needed; provides representation and promotion services; and continuously delivers social services such as the protection of cultural assets and natural resources by organizing, directing, and auditing the relevant service units within its organizational structure in an effective and human-centered management approach.”

The vision of the Erzurum Governorship is expressed as follows: “With an effective administration understanding, to meet the expectations of those living in our province from all social services such as education, health, rural development, agriculture, environment, sports, culture, and tourism at the highest level; to audit the effectiveness and efficiency of the investments, services, and activities of public institutions in the province (excluding judicial and military organizations); and to be a pioneering and exemplary organization that is sensitive to the needs of its employees with a human-centered and quality service approach.”

In the policy established under the quality management system, it is stated that: “Our organization’s quality policy has been determined and prepared in accordance with legal conditions, has been documented and published after approval by the upper management, and is shown in the Quality Manual. In addition, in line with the upper management’s decision, trainings, meetings, and presentations are organized within the institution to announce the quality policy to all employees and to develop employees’ quality awareness, thus conveying the Quality Management System culture to the employees.”
