Ali Doğan, who received the ticket number 184, which carries the same digits as the anniversary, to open a scholarship account for his daughter, was presented with an album from the Ptt commemorative stamp series by Chief Director Suat Öztürk.

In his statement referring to the history of Turkish postal services, Balıkesir Ptt Chief Director Suat Öztürk said, “Ptt AŞ, which was established on October 23, 1840, as the Post Ministry to ensure communication and correspondence within the Ottoman Empire, continues to provide services to facilitate the lives of our citizens in many sectors such as postal services, cargo, logistics, philately, and e-commerce throughout our country under the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure today. In addition to its services, it supports sports activities and contributes to the development of social and cultural life. As Ptt, we serve our citizens living in the most developed neighborhoods and the most remote corners of Balıkesir Province. We focus on improving our service quality with an understanding that prioritizes the welfare of our customers and employees, and we continue our activities with our extensive service network while adopting an approach that is steadily progressing towards becoming a global brand. Ali Doğan, who received the 184th customer queue number, stated that he came to open a scholarship account for his daughter who passed university entrance exams, saying, “I didn’t know that Ptt has been around for 184 years, and I can never forget this from now on.
