President Kul: “We want to shape the future of Terme together with the residents of the district.”

Terme Mayor Şenol Kul stated, “We want to personally go to the citizens to gather the extra demands of the district population and shape the future of Terme together with the residents of the district.”

Starting with the promise of a “living and sustaining participatory Terme,” Terme Mayor Şenol Kul continues to meet with the citizens of the district at the ‘Neighborhood Meetings’ to listen to their opinions, suggestions, and demands. The neighborhood meetings, organized for a more beautiful Terme shaped by transparency, participation, and collective intelligence, were held this time in the Şuayip Neighborhood of the district under the leadership of the Terme District Governorship. The program was attended by Terme District Governor Metin Maytalman, Terme Mayor Şenol Kul, Head of Social Services Department of Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Eyüp Çakır, representatives of public institutions and organizations in the district, neighborhood head Sedat Şen, and neighborhood residents.

“We are experiencing the beauty of being on the same eye and heart level”

In his speech before taking questions from the neighborhood residents, Mayor Kul expressed that they experience the beauties of establishing contact at the eye and heart level during the neighborhood meetings, stating, “As Terme Municipality, we want to gather the extra demands of the district population by personally going to the citizens through these ‘Neighborhood Meetings’ continuing under the leadership of our district governorship and shape the future of Terme together with the residents of the district.”

He took note of the demands one by one

Listening to the demands of the neighborhood residents, Mayor Şenol Kul stated that necessary examinations would be carried out with the relevant department heads for the solution of the problems. Taking notes of the demands from the neighborhood residents one by one, Kul said, “We will carry out the necessary examinations together with our relevant department heads and we will follow the process regarding your requests.”
