In the earthquake-hit region of Osmaniye, construction of permanent housing and workplaces continues unabated in the neighborhoods designated as reserve areas, and the construction of 45 permanent homes and 83 businesses has begun in the Esenevler neighborhood.

Osmaniye is one of the cities severely damaged by the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 2023, and the efforts to rebuild the destroyed houses are progressing without interruption. In Esenevler neighborhood, which has been declared a reserve area by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and Emlak Konut GYO, work has started for the construction of 45 permanent homes and 83 workplaces.

“Our greatest joy will be to complete these homes as soon as possible and hand them over to our fellow citizens,” said Osmaniye Governor Erdinç Yılmaz. “In our Esenevler neighborhood, approximately 17,000 square meters in this area, right next to our municipality on the Tuesday Market road, is one of the important stages of the work being carried out in our Osmaniye affected by the February 6 earthquake. Here, 83 shops and 45 houses will be built, not exceeding 6 floors, and horizontal architecture will be applied. This project, which will benefit from the architecture of Osmaniye, will make a significant contribution to the appearance and urbanism of our city. This project will be carried out by our Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change through Emlak Konut, and as of today, intensive work is starting, and it will be completed within a year and offered to the service of our Osmaniye citizens. It is truly valuable for Osmaniye to have such a wonderful project brought to life and implemented. We are grateful to our Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change in this regard and express our thanks. We will continue to bring such projects to our Osmaniye. Our greatest happiness and joy will be to provide the best services to our hero Osmaniye, the land of martyrs, in unity, togetherness, and brotherhood. Our greatest wish is for these shops and houses to be completed as soon as possible and made available for the service of our citizens. I wish good fortune and prosperity for our Osmaniye.”
