While serving in the Ankara Gölbaşı Special Operations Directorate, the family of police officer Aytekin Kuru, who was martyred during the treacherous coup attempt on July 15, stated that the corpse of Fetullah Gülen, the leader of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization, should not be brought to Turkey, and if it is, it should be given to the families of martyrs.
The mother of July 15 martyr Special Operations Police Aytekin Kuru, Esma Kuru, and father Süleyman Kuru expressed that they were pleased to hear about the death of the terrorist organization leader in Pennsylvania, but they said that the earth would not accept him.
Esma Kuru stated that they learned the news from television, saying, “Oh my God, may his lungs rot. Thank God he is dead. All martyrs, including my son, should be held accountable. May he burn in flames. He burned our hearts, may he burn in fires as well. Let him go seven layers deep into the earth. God has shown us this day. May his flesh be torn apart.”
Martyr father Süleyman Kuru also emphasized that they absolutely do not accept the possibility of the terrorist leader being brought to Turkey, stating, “His corpse should not be brought to Turkey. They should throw it into the sea on the way. No matter how much we rejoice, there is pain for our child. Neither our land nor foreign lands will accept people like him. They should hand over the one who piloted that helicopter to the families of martyrs. Our hearts have burned; it has been 8 years, day and night we mourn for our son. His corpse should not come; if it is brought, let them give his body to the families of martyrs. Our martyrs’ bodies came in pieces, let them give us the corpse of that traitor. Let them hand his corpse to me; there is no painful situation left. The earth will not accept them. His face looks like a pig. So many children were left orphaned, the mothers’ eyes are filled with tears.”
