Excitement of the taekwondo belt exam at the Şehzadeler Municipality

Students participating in the Taekwondo courses of the Şehzadeler Municipality Sports Club showcased their skills in the belt exam. The excitement of the 28 athletes who sweated during the exam was matched by the pride of their parents, which did not go unnoticed.

The Taekwondo belt exam organized by the Şehzadeler Municipality Sports Club took place with great enthusiasm. The event, held as part of the 3rd Term belt exam included in the 2024 activity program of the Turkish Taekwondo Federation, was attended by Manisa Taekwondo Provincial Representative and President of the Şehzadeler Municipality Sports Club, Gökay Budak, as well as National Team Coach Süleyman Başar. 28 athletes successfully executed the commands given by their coach, Tuğrul Yağdıran, and showcased their abilities.

Gökay Budak, the Taekwondo Provincial Representative of Manisa and also the President of the Şehzadeler Municipality Sports Club, along with National Team Coach Süleyman Başar, carefully observed the athletes throughout the exam. Athletes, who underwent a disciplined preparation process under the guidance of their coach, Tuğrul Yağdıran, dazzled with their performances during the belt exam. The athletes executed the commands flawlessly, demonstrating the discipline and skills of Taekwondo, and at the end of the exam, the successful students were ceremoniously awarded their belts.

Parents watching their children in the gym during the exam experienced emotional moments. The joy of the athletes who successfully advanced in their belts and the pride of their families were a sight to behold.

In a statement after the exam, Gökay Budak said, “We congratulate our athletes for their disciplined efforts. Our Mayor Gülşah Durbay also provides great support to our athletes. On this important day, she conveyed her greetings and wishes for success to all of them.”

Budak and Başar congratulated all the athletes who performed well in the exam and tied their belts. After the belts were tied, the athletes gathered for a group photo.
