The 16th International MEB Robot Competition has concluded.

This year, the 16th International MEB Robot Competition, hosted by Erzurum, has concluded and the winning teams have been announced.
The robot competition, held under the theme “Ahi Order and Technology in the Century of Education” and the slogan “The Code Shaping the Future of Ahi is Written in Erzurum,” was completed with a closing ceremony. Thus, the awards of the 16th International MEB Robot Competition were presented to their owners. This year’s competition took place for the 16th time from October 16-19, 2024, in Erzurum. A total of 1003 institutions from 17 countries and 81 provinces applied to the competition, with 6691 participants and 2687 robots. The competition was organized in 13 different categories: Advanced Level Line Following, Basic Level Design-Operate, Basic Level Tozkoparan Robot, Advanced Level Line Following, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (Mini Drone), Mini Sumo, Design-Operate, Egg Collection, Maze Master, RC Fixed Wing Aircraft, Free Project, Underwater Robot (SAR), and Autonomous Vehicle, with participation from students attending secondary and equivalent schools, high school institutions, and associate and undergraduate students in higher education.
Here are the winners of the robot competition:
– Advanced Level Line Following rankings: Kastamonu Anadolu Imam Hatip High School, Kastamonu Anadolu Imam Hatip High School, and Giresun Nurettin Canikli Anadolu Imam Hatip High School.
– Basic Level Line Following rankings: Kastamonu Anadolu Imam Hatip High School, Sivas Selçuk Middle School, and Sivas Yavuz Selim Middle School.
– Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Mini Drone rankings: Kütahya Nafi Güral Science High School, Istanbul Abdurrahman and Nermin Bilimli Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, and Istanbul Abdurrahman and Nermin Bilimli Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.
– Maze Master rankings: Rize Tevfik İleri Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Rize Tevfik İleri Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, and Rize Tevfik İleri Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.
– Mini Sumo Robot rankings: Sivas Gürün T. Telekom Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Giresun Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, and Kocaeli Hatice Bayraktar Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.
– Autonomous Vehicle Category rankings: Istanbul Abdurrahman and Nermin Bilimli Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Bursa Hürriyet Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, and Konya Adil Karaağaç Vocational School.
– RC Fixed Wing Aircraft rankings: Eskişehir Turgut Reis Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Samsun Atakum Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, and Balıkesir Edremit Anadolu Imam Hatip High School.
– Free Project rankings: Istanbul Atatürk Science High School, Tokat Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, and Konya Çumra Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.
– Underwater Robot Category rankings: Kocaeli Ertuğrulgazi Anatolian High School, Konya Karatay Science High School, and Konya Karatay Science and Art Center.
– Design-Operate rankings: Eskişehir Atatürk Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Konya Çumra Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, and Konya Kılıçarslan Borsa Istanbul Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.
– Tozkoparan Robot (Basic Level) Category rankings: Giresun Cumhuriyet Middle School, Konya Karatay Science and Art Center, and Konya Süleyman Çelebi Middle School.
– Egg Collection (Caretta Caretta) Category rankings: Tokat Zile Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Tokat Zile Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, and Tokat Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.
– Design-Operate Basic Level rankings: Istanbul Bahçelievler Kumport Middle School, Istanbul Silivri Science and Art Center, and Samsun Science and Art Center.
– Best Design Award: Kyrgyzstan Maarif Education Complex.
– Fair Play Award: Czechia Tertiary College and Secondary School of Electro Engineering.
– Jury Special Award: Istanbul Bahçelievler Kumport Middle School.
