In the 8th week match of the TFF 2nd League Red Group, Menemen FK faced 68 Aksaray Belediyespor, with whom it was competing for the top spot. The match, played at Menemen District Stadium, was won by the İzmir team with a score of 2-0, solidifying their position in the leadership seat. Thus, the yellow-blue team increased the point difference to 3 with their closest rival, 68 Aksaray Belediyespor. As a result, the yellow-blue team maintained an unbeaten record in their first 8 matches, achieving 7 victories and 1 draw. Menemen FK’s head coach Burhanettin Basatemür also made statements regarding the Aksaray match.
