Director Coşar: “We attach great importance to communication with our muhtars.”

Officials from Vangölü Electricity Distribution Inc. (VEDAŞ) visited the Muş Muhtars Association on the occasion of October 19th, Muhtarlar Day. The visit, hosted by Muş Muhtars Association President Turan Süme and neighborhood muhtars, was attended by VEDAŞ Muş Provincial Director Suat Coşar and VEDAŞ executives. During the visit, Coşar emphasized the importance of the muhtarlık (local headman) and stated, “We attach great importance to communication with our muhtars, who are the first link of our democracy and important stakeholders for us. In this context, we consult with our muhtars when planning and executing our investment, maintenance, and repair works. In addition to our personal meetings, we have also defined a VIP line for our muhtars in our call center. During this visit on the occasion of Muhtarlar Day, we provided general information about our works for the first 9 months of 2024. We are already in cooperation with our muhtars in all our processes and keep them informed. We are aware that our cooperation and harmony will also ensure the satisfaction of our consumers. On this occasion, I would like to celebrate October 19th, Muhtarlar Day, and wish our muhtars ease in their work.” Muş Muhtars Association President Turan Süme stated that a culture of consultation must be established for the perfection of service, saying, “We are pleased with VEDAŞ’s communication with us. They consider our requests, criticisms, and suggestions, and they provide feedback. Since our ultimate goal is to provide the best service to our people, we can easily meet on common ground.
