Service support from Kepez to schools

Kepez Municipality has started maintenance, repair, and landscaping works in schools in the district.

With its nurseries, science center, libraries, support education courses for university entrance exams and KPSS, as well as vocational training center, Kepez Municipality is practically an educational campus and meets the needs of schools in the district. Kepez Municipality teams are carrying out various works in schools, from garden arrangements to maintenance of sports fields, from painting and renovations to meeting the needs for benches, trash bins, and gazebos, as well as cleaning. A service request from a school in Hüsnü Karakaş Neighborhood was fulfilled in one day, and paving stone work was carried out in the school garden.

The problem of water accumulation during rainy weather is being solved.

Kepez Municipality teams are addressing the issue of water accumulation and mud in the garden of a school building with approximately 2,000 students in Hüsnü Karakaş Neighborhood during rainy weather. The school administration requested a solution to this problem from Kocagöz during their visit last Thursday, and the Kepez Municipality Directorate of Science Affairs, which took action, initiated the paving stone work that would solve the issue in the school garden the day after the visit. The work was carried out in a 250 square meter area of the garden that had water accumulation and mud. After the ground was leveled with the help of construction machinery, the production of the locking stones was carried out. The problem of rainwater accumulation and muddy ground in the garden was resolved with the production of paving stones.

Additionally, work was done regarding the lines that define play areas in the cleaning and sports fields of Ayten Çağıran Multi-Program Anatolian High School located in Altınova Central Neighborhood. Kepez Mayor Mesut Kocagöz stated in a statement that they are working based on volunteerism and a sense of moral responsibility in educational institutions. Kocagöz conveyed that they strive to meet the demands of schools in the district within the limits of the municipality’s capabilities, saying, “We support our children and youth, who are the future of our country, to continue their education in a safe and healthy environment. In this context, we are meeting the requests of our schools with a sense of moral responsibility and a social municipal understanding, in line with our municipality’s budget capabilities, and we will continue to do so.”
