President Çolakbayrakdar: “We are building the Turkey of the future with Kocasinan IQ.”

With the ‘Kocasinan IQ Innovation and R&D Center’ launched by Kocasinan Municipality, young people are preparing for the future in a more equipped manner in terms of technological infrastructure. Kocasinan Mayor Ahmet Çolakbayrakdar stated, “We are preparing our children, who are the guarantee of a strong Turkey, for a more equipped future.”
The ‘Kocasinan IQ’ center, which includes classrooms and workshops at the Sümer Yenimahalle Facility, aims not only to provide children and young people with systematic thinking skills but also to raise individuals who think, away from rote-learning approaches. Reminding that the mental development of children and young people is negatively affected by habits such as television, computers, and the internet, Mayor Çolakbayrakdar emphasized that they are working diligently to raise children, who are the guarantee of a strong Turkey and a bright future, in a more equipped manner. Highlighting that children spend intellectually stimulating hours with the correct and active use of the brain at the ‘Kocasinan IQ’ center, which they have established for young people and children, Mayor Çolakbayrakdar said, “We have carried out and continue to carry out projects and investments that set an example for Turkey in education and training. We know that our youth and children are the guarantee of this country. For this reason, we contribute to raising more equipped young people to elevate Turkey above the level of contemporary civilization. Thus, our youth will be the future of the strengthening and growing Kayseri and Turkey. In this direction, we have added another facility aimed at young people to our district and our Kayseri. At the Kocasinan IQ Innovation and R&D Center, our middle school, high school, and university students are working, learning, and producing projects in robotic coding, software, Arduino, as well as model airplanes and unmanned aerial vehicles. With this center, which we established to ensure our youth are equipped, especially in terms of technological infrastructure, we are making intensive efforts to contribute to the development of future engineers and scientists. On the other hand, we provide services in various fields, from skill development to cultural activities, artistic endeavors through Kocasinan Academy. With our Children’s Club and Youth Center, we work to open a different horizon for our children and young people and prepare them for the future. With KOCAFEST, we have planted a ‘Digital Seed’ in the heart of Anatolia. We are striving to nurture this seed with intelligence, knowledge, and effort. Our whole effort is for our children, who are the future of a Great and Strong Turkey, to be raised better. We will continue to work with all our might for their peaceful and happy futures.”
Mayor Çolakbayrakdar added that they are making significant contributions to the mental development of young people and children with the center, which features different concept studies that enhance imagination and broaden horizons.
