Minister Kacır attended the ’17th Giresun Promotion Days’.

Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır participated in the 17th Giresun Promotion Days organized by Kağıthane Municipality at Hasbahçe Recreation Area. Speaking at the event, Minister Kacır stated, “We will bring new tourism investments and manufacturing facilities to our city that will enhance Giresun’s value-added production and employment.”

The 17th Giresun Promotion Days continue to be held at Hasbahçe Recreation Area by Kağıthane Municipality. The program was attended by Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, AK Party Istanbul Deputy Hasan Turan, Giresun Governor Mehmet Fatih Serdengeçti, Giresun Mayor Fuat Köse, Kağıthane Mayor Mevlüt Öztekin, Giresun deputies, and many citizens. In his speech, Mehmet Fatih Kacır announced investments such as a new Organized Industrial Zone, a Ski Training Center, and a Hazelnut R&D Center in Giresun. After his speech, Minister Kacır visited the booths and took photos with citizens.

“We will implement many projects together in our Giresun”

In his speech, Minister Kacır said, “I hope that the participation in our event, where we will promote the local and regional products, culture, and all beauties of our city, the pearl of the Black Sea, will peak tomorrow. Nearly 500 thousand of our fellow citizens live in Istanbul. Our fellow citizens contribute to Istanbul and all the cities they live in. We will implement many projects together in our Giresun. We will bring new tourism investments and manufacturing facilities that will enhance Giresun’s value-added production and employment to our city. We are making Giresun Island accessible to tourism. Again, we will construct ski slopes in the region with our Dereli Winter Tourism Center. Accordingly, we will establish a one-kilometer-long chairlift that can carry 1,500 people per hour and a ski training center in Giresun. We will establish a new healthcare facility in our famous Alucra, known for its thermal springs, with our local development vision. We will establish a vocational training and innovation center in Giresun. We will take steps for more value-added production of our hazelnuts, which have a reputation beyond our borders, with new projects in the upcoming period. For this, we will hopefully establish a hazelnut processing R&D and efficiency center in Giresun, the capital of hazelnuts. We are very happy to be in Kağıthane this year, to be at Hasbahçe. I greet you with love, respect, and affection until we meet again at many promotion days.”

Kağıthane Mayor Mevlüt Öztekin expressed their happiness in hosting the people of Giresun in Kağıthane, saying, “I would like to thank those who contributed. Greetings to Giresun from Kağıthane.”
