Beylikdüzü Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık came together with the muhtars serving in the district for an evening meal on the occasion of “October 19th Muhtarlar Day”. The dinner was attended by Beylikdüzü Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık, CHP Beylikdüzü District Chairman Mülayim Demirtaş, vice presidents, and municipal council members. In his speech, Mayor Çalık emphasized that muhtars are the voice of the neighborhoods, saying, “Our muhtars play an important bridge role in effectively delivering public services by accurately reflecting the needs and demands of our citizens. We will continue our efforts to enhance the quality of life in our neighborhoods by working hand in hand with you.”

During the meeting, Mayor Çalık also listened to the opinions and suggestions of the muhtars, highlighting the importance of cooperation and solidarity, stating, “We will continue to work together to find the fastest and most effective solutions to the problems of our neighborhoods. Muhtars have a very important role in local governance. As Beylikdüzü Municipality, we work in unity, solidarity, and harmony with our muhtars, who are the fundamental building blocks of democracy and important stakeholders in city management. I thank each of you for your dedicated work.” At the end of the program, Mayor Çalık presented flowers and gifts to the muhtars in relation to the significance and importance of the day.
