Ambassador Al Jahwari invited Turkish companies to invest in Oman.

The Ambassador of Oman to Ankara, Saif Rashid Saif Al Jahwari, who visited the headquarters of the Confederation of Industry and Trade SANKON, invited Turkish companies to invest in Oman.

During the visit, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Ankara, Saif Rashid Saif Al Jahwari, and bureaucrats visited SANKON President Ferudun Cevahiroğlu and his administration. During the visit, SANKON President Ferudun Cevahiroğlu delivered important messages regarding strengthening the relations between the two countries. Expressing his pleasure at hosting Ambassador Al Jahwari at their headquarters, Cevahiroğlu emphasized the strategic importance of Oman and the strong economic ties between the two countries.

Cevahiroğlu wished Al Jahwari success in his new role, stating, “The Sultanate of Oman is an important country for Turkey due to its geographical position and being a Muslim country. The Sultanate of Oman is also our strongest strategic ally in the Middle East region and the international community where we live.” Highlighting that economic and trade relations between the Republic of Turkey and the Sultanate of Oman are increasing every day, Cevahiroğlu said, “In the past, as the SANKON organization, we have had a strong cooperation with the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Ankara. We will continue to develop and strengthen the existing strong cooperation between us with great determination in the future.”

Cevahiroğlu also expressed their desire to organize a Turkey-Oman Business Forum Conference in cooperation with the Oman Embassy in Ankara to contribute to the relations between the two countries, stating that they want to visit Oman soon with a large number of business people in this context.

Ambassador Saif Rashid Saif Al Jahwari highlighted the historical ties between the Turkish and Omani peoples and invited Turkish companies to invest in Oman. Ambassador Al Jahwari indicated that they wanted to further strengthen and advance the economic and trade relations between Turkey and Oman with the past efforts, stating, “The Sultanate of Oman is a peaceful and safe country. Therefore, the Sultanate of Oman is suitable for Turkish companies to invest in many sectors. I invite SANKON member Turkish companies to invest in my country and participate in projects as soon as possible.”

During the meeting, Ambassador Al Jahwari provided information about Oman’s economic and trade data in a meeting attended by a significant number of company representatives.

At the meeting held at the SANKON Headquarters, officials from the Turkey Health Tourism Federation, Turkey Agriculture and Rural Development Federation, Ankara Defense Industry Federation, Ankara Finance and Investment Projects Federation, Ankara Energy and Mining Federation, Ankara Industry and Technology Federation, Ankara Import and Export Federation, and Ankara Foreign Trade Federation were present.

Prof. Dr. Aysun Bay, President of the Turkey Health Tourism Federation, also made a presentation to the delegation to further develop health tourism between the two countries.
