Sivas Provincial Director of National Education Necati Yener visited the production and practice areas of Suşehri Sezai Karakoç Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, where modern agricultural techniques are taught to students through practical application.
After gathering information about the future goals of students receiving practical education in the field of agriculture, Yener emphasized that education is the most important factor in ensuring Turkey’s development and progress in all areas.
Yener highlighted the importance of the Turkey Century Education Model implemented by the Ministry of National Education, stating that the curricula in the Maarif Model focus on the comprehensive development of individuals. He mentioned that knowledge, skills, trends, and values in the programs are addressed by strengthening them with talents, interests, needs, and individual differences. Yener said, “You are also receiving education in the fields of agriculture and animal health in our school along with other educational programs. Each of you will make significant contributions to the development of our country’s agricultural sector and will actively participate in conscious agricultural processes.”
Yener also chatted for a while with the teachers at the school and gathered information about the work in the production and practice areas. He closely examined the products produced by the students and teachers.
