The Mayor of Merkezefendi, Şeniz Doğan, came together with the muhtars and their esteemed families at an event organized for October 19th, Muhtars’ Day.

A program was organized by the Merkezefendi Municipality for muhtars and their families due to October 19th, Muhtars’ Day. The event, held in the Bereketler Meeting and Exhibition Hall, was attended by Merkezefendi District Governor Abdullah Demir, Merkezefendi Deputy Mayors, Osman Yüreci, President of the Muhtars Association Denizli Branch, muhtars working in the province and district, and unit managers from Merkezefendi Municipality.

Mayor Doğan stated that the muhtars work very intensively, saying, “Today, I am happy to be here to celebrate October 19th, Muhtars’ Day. Muhtars are the fundamental building blocks of our society. You are the ones who build the bridge with our citizens in solving local issues, being their voice. Throughout my term, I have always emphasized the importance of working with you and listening to your ideas. You are the ones who know the problems in your neighborhoods best and present the best solutions. Therefore, I want you to know that I will always be by your side and support your ideas and projects. Today, on this special day that we have come together, the support of your families behind the services you provide is also significant. Thanks to their sacrifices, you can be more effective. On this occasion, I would like to congratulate all our muhtars on October 19th, Muhtars’ Day, and extend my respect and love. I firmly believe that we will achieve many beautiful projects together. We will continue to work together to make Merkezefendi even more beautiful.”
