President Büyükkılıç inspected the İldem-Yeşilyurt Social Life Center, which is counting down to its opening.

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç conducted on-site inspections of the İldem-Yeşilyurt Social Life Center Project, which will be inaugurated on Friday, October 25. Mayor Büyükkılıç said, “We invite all our fellow citizens, sports lovers, and bookworm friends to share our happy moment at our opening.”

Mayor Büyükkılıç examined the current status of the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality İldem-Yeşilyurt Social Life Center, which has a total construction area of 5,000 square meters, serving the İldem region of Melikgazi district and adding vibrancy to the neighborhood. During the inspection of the social life center, Büyükkılıç was accompanied by Deputy Secretary Generals Ali Hasdal and Ufuk Sekmen, department heads, and officials from the contracting company. Visiting the various areas within the center and receiving information about the current status, Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç stated, “As Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, we continue our services hand in hand with our district mayors. In this understanding, we are bringing a social and sports facility that is suitable for the İldem and Yeşilyurt neighborhoods to life.”

Mayor Büyükkılıç expressed that they have created an important facility that includes 2,500 sports fields that will serve 2,500 citizens, a library that will meet the needs of schools in the region, and a children’s library, which is one of the specialized libraries. Providing information about the facility, Büyükkılıç said, “Our facility will meet the region’s needs in this area with two swimming pools; it will be suitable for our 2024 European Sports City ACES, and with fitness centers and Pilates studios, it will provide the best services to ladies, gentlemen, and our beloved youth. We are running from investment to investment, from service to service. ” Mayor Büyükkılıç reminded that the opening ceremony of the İldem-Yeşilyurt Social Life Center Project will be attended by the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, on October 25 and stated, “We invite all our fellow citizens, sports lovers, and bookworm friends to share our happy moment at our opening. Additionally, our book fair continues, and we will bring millions together with our books and our authors.”

Three more new facilities will be provided

Büyükkılıç announced that they will offer multi-purpose facilities for the citizens in the neighborhoods of Talas, Altınoluk, and Ziya Gökalp, and continued his words as follows; “We will soon open the facility we completed in the Talas region, and the tender for the second phase of our facility in the Altınoluk region has been held, and it will also be realized as soon as possible. We will also implement our multi-purpose facility, which will meet the expectations of the citizens of Ziya Gökalp Neighborhood and will be in compliance with Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality standards.”

The İldem Social Life Center project will include male and female swimming pools, fitness studios, studios, sauna and steam rooms, a working room for educational and social activities, a computer room, a library, and a cafeteria. Additionally, there will be a children’s library and a children’s play area. The project will also feature semi-open and open areas that serve all these functions throughout the building.
