Hepsiburada received the ‘Best Sustainability Team’ award with its HepsiTürkiye program.

Hepsiburada received a gold award in the Best Sustainability Team category of The Hammers Awards with its HepsiTürkiye’den program, launched to support sustainable local development. The HepsiTürkiye’den program has introduced over 300 local producers from 64 provinces and 210 districts to e-commerce. Nearly 200 of these products have geographical indications, and around 8,000 local products have been made available for sale with special supports.

One in three local producers participating in the HepsiTürkiye’den program is a female entrepreneur or a women’s cooperative. The program, designed to contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals of No Poverty (1), Zero Hunger (2), Gender Equality (5), and Responsible Consumption and Production (12), aims to reach at least one local producer from each of Turkey’s 81 provinces and 922 districts.

Access to every part of Turkey with a 1% commission
According to the announcement; Hepsiburada offers local producers participating in the HepsiTürkiye’den program the opportunity to enter e-commerce with a commission of 1% + VAT. In addition to the commission discount, many supports are provided, such as free photography for products, a complimentary digital advertising balance, discounted shipping, a special promotional page for products, and e-commerce training.

Local producers who wish to start e-commerce with HepsiTürkiye’den can apply through the program page. All local producers producing regional products determined by provinces, holding a brand registration certificate, having a contract with the institution that owns the geographical indication product, packaging according to the food code, and presenting a packaged visual of the product can participate in the HepsiTürkiye’den program.
