Adana Hacı Sabancı Organized Industrial Zone (AOSB) has launched a new ready-mixed concrete facility to provide quick and quality solutions to the needs of industrialists. The facility, which has been put into operation with an investment of 5.5 million dollars, will make significant contributions to the strengthening of the local industry.
In his speech at the opening of the second ready-mixed concrete plant, AOSB President Bekir Sütcü emphasized the region’s vision for growth and serving industrialists. Sütcü stated that the facility will offer quality concrete to industrialists, saying, “Our aim is to provide quality and sustainable services to our industrialists at competitive prices. This facility will make a significant contribution to the growth of AOSB and the strengthening of the local industry,” he said.
The first concrete plant of AOSB became operational in 2022. Established on an area of 10,000 square meters, the facility produced a total of 145,000 cubic meters of concrete from 2022 to 2023, reaching 135,000 cubic meters in 9 months of 2024. During the two-year period, a total of 280,000 cubic meters of concrete was produced, supplying 225 different companies.
President Sütcü stated, “After completing our own investments, we commissioned this facility. Thus, we aimed to contribute to the region’s development by providing concrete to our industrialists under competitive conditions,” he expressed.
The second concrete plant, whose foundation was laid in June 2024, started operations in September, increasing the existing capacity by 100%. The production capacity of the facility was raised from 130 cubic meters to 260 cubic meters per hour. While the current machinery park includes 15 concrete mixers and 4 concrete pumps, Sütcü stated that the facility’s infrastructure is equipped to serve all kinds of industrial construction. “Providing uninterrupted service to our industrialists during production is our top priority,” he added.
Among the region’s growth plans is an expansion area of 6 million square meters. From this area, an industrial land of 4 million square meters will be created, and an area of 3 million square meters will be offered to industrialists through pre-allocation. Sütcü emphasized that the expansion process is ongoing with the support of the Adana Governorship, members of parliament, and the Ministry of Industry.
In addition to its production activities, AOSB also leads social projects. The region, which is cited as an example among 400 industrial zones in Turkey for its fire brigade services, will also provide a kindergarten for industrialists, planned to start operations at the beginning of the year. This project is expected to cost approximately 50 million TL.
President Bekir Sütcü, emphasizing AOSB’s 30-year history, stated, “We closely know the needs of industrialists and continue our infrastructure works without interruption. Every morning, we personally check the roads and facilities in the region to identify deficiencies. Our goal is to provide better service to industrialists and make AOSB an exemplary model,” he said.
AOSB continues to work in collaboration with industrialists by adopting a culture of consultation in its management approach. President Sütcü concluded his remarks by saying, “The success of the region comes from our working together in unity and solidarity. We will continue our services without slowing down.”
After his opening speech, President Sütcü cut the ribbon along with guests including Deputy Chairman of the Board Ömer Kaya, Board Members Yusuf Kara, M. Nedim Büyüknacar, and Mehmet Tosmur, Audit Board Member Mustafa Fidan, AOSB Regional Director Ersin Akpınar, and Adana Chamber of Commerce Council Chairman İsrafil Uçurum, wishing everyone well.
