Hasan Yalnızoğlu was bid farewell on his last journey.

The Survivor contestant, actor, and dancer Hasan Yalnızoğlu was bid farewell on his last journey following the funeral ceremony held in Üsküdar. Hasan Yalnızoğlu, known for the Survivor competition, had passed away due to pancreatic cancer. A funeral ceremony was held today at Şakirin Mosque, located within the Karacaahmet Cemetery in Üsküdar, following the afternoon prayer. Hasan Yalnızoğlu’s family, relatives, close friends, as well as actor and presenter Kenan İmirzalıoğlu, actor Berk Oktay, sports commentator Bilgehan Demir, actress İpek Tenolcay, and many fans attended the funeral prayer. After the funeral prayer, Hasan Yalnızoğlu’s body was buried at Karacaahmet Cemetery.

Kenan İmirzalıoğlu: “He was a very good person.”

Actor and presenter Kenan İmirzalıoğlu, who attended the funeral, stated, “My friendship with Hasan started at the Best Model semi-final. That was when we first met. I am talking about the summer of 1997. We were roommates at the 1997 Turkey finals. Hasan was my number one in my heart, and I was his number one in his heart. I was chosen first, and he came second. We walked different paths like that. We kept in touch and met up. This illness process was very unpleasant. But he was a beautiful person, a very good person. You will hear the same things from everyone, I am sure. Every death is early, but our Hasan left us too early. Nine years ago, our Sertac also left us. They left behind two daughters. I hope they will be well, meet good people, and have a beautiful fate. I pray for their children,” he said. Actress İpek Tenolcay expressed, “We are sad; we are bidding farewell to a dear friend. May God give patience to those left behind. We have a group, and even if we are not face to face, we certainly kept each other informed.”

Actor Berk Oktay said, “We are very sad. Hasan was a wonderful person. He was very young; that is the painful part. Death is a reality for all of us, of course, but he was very young. May God give patience to his family. I haven’t seen him recently, but our mutual friends have met. He was a very good and beautiful person.”
