114 new vehicles were delivered to the Security Forces in Muğla.

In Muğla, 114 new vehicles were delivered to the Police and Gendarmerie units to ensure the peace and security of the citizens. In a ceremony held under the leadership of the Muğla Governorate, modern vehicles were allocated to the security forces. 70 vehicles were delivered to the police units, and 44 vehicles were delivered to the gendarmerie units, increasing the operational capability and crime-fighting capacities of the security forces.

During the ceremony, Muğla Provincial Police Chief Ali Canbolat stated, “The presence of the police is a guarantee of security for the citizens. Therefore, the assistance provided is very valuable for our organization as it will strengthen our capabilities on behalf of society. The support you provide will greatly contribute to our efforts and will reflect as peace, security, and safety for our citizens. I express my gratitude to the valuable philanthropists who contributed to the purchase of the 70 vehicles acquired for the Muğla Police Department, to our General Directorate of Security, to my Governor, and to our Ministry of Interior. These newly acquired vehicles will empower our efforts to ensure the peace and order of the people of Muğla. I sincerely thank you on behalf of the Turkish police for your support and assistance in modernizing our institution with contemporary, fast, and secure vehicles.”

Muğla Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Brigadier General Emrullah Büyük said, “With these new vehicles, our operational efficiency will increase further. Currently, with the contributions of our 58 donors present here and 49 donors who could not attend due to other commitments, the Provincial Gendarmerie Command will soon add 29 more vehicles to its inventory, with a total contribution of 26 million 871 thousand 500 liras. The Muğla Provincial Gendarmerie Command will always be by the side of our people, working in support of them and executing its duties in the best possible way. Laws, truth, honesty, rights, and justice will always be our guide. With these feelings and thoughts, I wish that the new vehicles will be beneficial and auspicious for our police, our gendarmerie, and our province of Muğla, and I express my gratitude to our philanthropists and to our Governor for his leadership during this process. I wish our heroic police and gendarmerie personnel successful missions with these new vehicles without any accidents or misfortunes.”

Muğla Governor İdris Akbıyık remarked, “We all know how successful our security forces have been in combating terrorism, maintaining public order, and ensuring that our citizens can live in peace. They are our heroes who courageously stand out in every circumstance and hardship, disregarding their own lives for the peace of our nation. Our security forces are the steadfast guardians of this flag and this land. We take pride in delivering our new vehicles to the heroic security forces who work day and night to ensure peace and security in every corner of our province and country, protecting the lives and property of our citizens. Undoubtedly, it is of great importance that our security forces are equipped with modern vehicles to adapt to evolving conditions and to perform their duties more efficiently, supported by technological infrastructure. The delivered vehicles will enhance the strength of our heroic police and gendarmerie, increase their mobility, and elevate the standards of service even higher. Thus, while our preventive power increases, crime rates will decrease, and our capacity to apprehend criminals and bring them to justice will rise. Our Muğla citizens, philanthropists, and business people who did not spare their support in combating the 2021 forest fires and healing the wounds, have demonstrated solidarity following the February 6 earthquake, which is referred to as the disaster of the century. Our Muğla citizens, philanthropists, and business people, just as in the past, have showcased the most beautiful example of unity and solidarity today by supporting the purchase of the 114 vehicles delivered to our law enforcement forces with the understanding of ‘State and Nation hand in hand.’ We are stronger as we feel the strength of our valuable Muğla citizens, our citizens, and our esteemed nation by our side.”

After the speeches, the delivered vehicles took a city tour accompanied by prayers.
