The 2024-2025 season of the UEFA Champions League kicked off with the first week matches in a newly organized league format. In the first matches of the day at 19:45, national player Kenan Yıldız’s Juventus defeated PSV Eindhoven 3-1 at home. Kenan scored his team’s first goal and marked his first Champions League goal, while also being named player of the match. In another match, the English team Aston Villa eliminated Galatasaray and defeated the Swiss representative Young Boys 3-0 away.
