The opening of the international mixed exhibition titled ‘ArtExChange’, organized in collaboration between Karabük University (KBÜ) Safranbolu Fethi Toker Faculty of Fine Arts and Design and the University of Art and Design Cluj-Napoca in Romania, has taken place.
The exhibition, held at the Art Gallery of Safranbolu Fethi Toker Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, was attended by KBÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Rakıp Karaş, Vice Rector of Cluj-Napoca University of Art and Design Andrei Budescu, Dean of Safranbolu Fethi Toker Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Prof. Dr. Suat Altun, academics, students, and guests.
In his speech at the opening of the exhibition, Rector Kırışık emphasized the importance of Safranbolu Fethi Toker Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, stating, “Our Faculty of Fine Arts and Design is very precious to us. Beautiful works are being realized and wonderful projects are being carried out. Hopefully, we want to come together again with even more beautiful projects and better works in the future. It is very pleasing for us that the exhibition is an international collaboration. We hope to continue to strengthen the power of our Faculty of Fine Arts by increasing such international collaborations and projects. Art is extremely important in reflecting the emotions, thoughts, and dreams of a nation. It is very valuable to bring such beautiful works of art to life. We wish to continue to do this by spreading it more into the social realm and expanding it on the international stage. Thank you all very much, and thank you for your efforts, may you all be well.”
After the opening, Rector Kırışık and the participants toured the exhibition and examined the artworks.
The international exhibition, featuring a total of 33 works by 19 academics from the University of Art and Design Cluj-Napoca and Safranbolu Fethi Toker Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, will be open to art lovers until September 18.
