AK Party Çanakkale Provincial Chairman Naim Makas has left his position.

The AK Party Çanakkale Provincial Chairman Naim Makas announced that he has stepped down from his position. In his statement, he said, “I have completed my duty as the AK Party Çanakkale Provincial Chairman, which I have carried out with great pride and honor for 5 years, with the approval of our Chairman, our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Our journey began with AK Youth, the conscience and guarantee of our party, and continued with the Provincial Chairmanship for 5 years after serving as a local board member. During this time, we made it our principle to tell about the love and dedication shown while getting rid of our unfortunate history with the achievements of the AK Party governments under the guidance of our leader, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, our principles of the cause, and our organizational understanding. Regardless of the circumstances, we experience the peace of conscience in fulfilling our duties by uniting with our organizations around the decisions of our President. In this process, we experienced both our sorrows and our joys together, and no matter what happens, our loyalty to our Chairman, our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, whom we take as an example in terms of our style, courtesy, kindness, and morality, will continue to be our unchanging principle as it was yesterday and will be tomorrow. I would like to express my gratitude to our Chairman, our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who gave us the opportunity to serve in this blessed cause, and to our General Central Organization Chairman Mr. Erkan Kandemir, who did not spare his trust and support during my tenure, to our Deputy Organization Chairman and Marmara Regional Chairman Mr. Halis Dalkılıç, and to our Provincial Coordinator Mr. Gökhan Diktaş. As a banner bearer of our blessed cause, during my term, we strived to contribute to many investments made in our city, to be the voice of our people, and as a lover of our Çanakkale on the road to becoming a brand city, we declared a kind of campaign to repay the favor of our fellow citizens. After this ordinary flag change, I wish success and achievements to our new provincial chairman in fulfilling the responsibility towards the vision of our party. I also thank our Deputy Minister of Interior Bülent Turan, our MKYK member Jülide İskenderoğlu, and our MP Ayhan Gider, who have not spared their efforts and brotherhood during our time in office. I sincerely thank all of our party members who worked with great sacrifice and dedication for the ideal of ‘Strong and Great Turkey’; our provincial executives, our Women’s Branch Chairperson Özlem Karadayı and our AK Women, our Youth Branch Chairperson Alperen Uysal and our AK Youth, all our district and town chairpersons and district and town executives, our mayors who represent us in our local governments, as well as our Provincial Council and Municipal Council members, and all our comrades who have served in all levels of our party. With my belief and support that our party will continue its march towards ‘Great Turkey’ strengthened hand in hand with our blessed nation; while stating once again that I will strive to do whatever is necessary on behalf of myself, my party, my city, and my country in the construction of the Turkish Century; I thank God thousands of times for allowing me to align the most beautiful years of my youth with the journey of our leader, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
