Claims that the renovation works of Muğla Atatürk Stadium have been slowed down by the Menteşe Municipality have been denied by the Menteşe Municipality.

In a statement made by the Menteşe Municipality, it was announced that after the review of the draft project prepared for the new stadium, the deficiencies were communicated to the project officials and Muğlaspor management on August 28, and that no official permit application has been made so far.

In this process, as Menteşe Municipality, we have made great efforts to meet all the demands of our club, support their projects, and contribute to the construction of the temporary stadium and the renovation of its facilities. During the process of demolishing and rebuilding the stadium, all necessary facilities have been provided to avoid any delays, and bureaucratic procedures have been quickly resolved. All our business and operations are recorded with date and time information through the digital permit system. The statements reflected in the media contain baseless claims that our municipality has played a slowing role in this process. These statements do not reflect the truth. The draft architectural project submitted for the new stadium has been quickly reviewed, and the deficiencies were communicated to the project officials and Muğlaspor managers on August 28. The project is expected to be delivered to the Municipality after the deficiencies are addressed. There has been no official permit application made to the Menteşe Municipality regarding the stadium.
