The ‘3rd Bursa International Gastronomy Festival’, held for the third time this year under the theme ‘Bursa on My Palate’ to introduce the certified flavors of Bursa to the world, concluded with a concert by Bursa artist Fettah Can. The festival, which took place over three days with a packed program, left unforgettable tastes on the palates and pleasant memories in the minds of tens of thousands of gastronomy enthusiasts from both domestic and international locations.

The rich culinary culture and certified flavors of Bursa were once again showcased at the 3rd Bursa International Gastronomy Festival held this year under the theme ‘Bursa on My Palate’. While the city’s gastronomic potential was highlighted in Merinos Park, visitors had the opportunity to taste various flavors in the marketplace areas named after Bursa’s celebrated artists, Müzeyyen Senar and Zeki Müren. In the Bursa Women Producers Street, women’s associations and cooperatives showcased their products, while 8 foreign cities from 7 different countries participated, and two guest chefs from abroad joined the festival. Participants experienced a visual feast at the ‘Bursa Flavors and Gastronomy Museum’, while the festival hosted 54 different events ranging from competitions and concerts to performances, training sessions, talks, and panels. On the last day of the festival, Chef Dr. Esat Özata, alongside Prof. Dr. Ertuğrul Aksoy as moderator, held the ‘Gastro Talks’, with speakers including Aslıhan Koruyan Sabancı, Ömer Pirge, and Pınar Altuğ Atacan. The ‘Börek Eating Competition’ with Ikizler Börek and ‘Open Kitchen’ events with Chef Maxime Joseph Petit and Chef Adem Buluş provided enjoyable moments for participants. Visitors had a music-filled day with the ‘Bedevi’ concert, and they followed the Bursaspor – Tokat Belediye Plevne Sports match on a giant screen set up in the area.

The festival, prepared with rich content, ended with a magnificent concert after three days. The excitement peaked with the Fettah Can concert held as part of the Gastronomy Festival, which left unique flavors on the palates. Bursa residents filled the area to capacity, experiencing an unforgettable evening by singing along to the famous artist’s songs. Bursa Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Bozbey, who watched the concert with his wife Seden Bozbey, presented a ceramic painting and flowers to Fettah Can as a memento of the day at the end of the night. Mayor Bozbey expressed great happiness in hosting a Bursa artist at the festival and thanked the Bursa residents who filled the area.
