A special program for Mevlid Kandili was organized in Bahçelievler.

Bahçelievler Municipality held a special program for Mevlid Kandili. The program started with the recitation of the Quran by the Imam of Ayasofya-i Kebir Mosque, Bünyamin Topçuoğlu, and also featured a Sufi music performance. There was significant interest from the citizens in the event.

Bahçelievler Municipality organized a special program for Mevlid Kandili, the day when Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH) was born. Prior to the event held at Bahçelievler National Sovereignty Park, a visit to the Sacred Beard of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was opened at Siyavuşpaşa Pavilion. The program was attended by Bahçelievler Mayor Dr. Hakan Bahadır and many citizens. The event began with the recitation of the Quran by Imam Bünyamin Topçuoğlu and included a Sufi music performance. Dursun Ali Erzincanlı also took the stage with his poetry and praises.

“We Muslims will unite”

In his speech at the event, Bahçelievler Mayor Dr. Hakan Bahadır stated, “Today is Mevlid Kandili. It is the birthday of our Prophet. His manifestation in the world. Today, as Bahçelievler Municipality, we decided to hold a beautiful program. First, we opened our sacred artifacts for visitation. Our teachers hosted a feast for your hearts. I congratulate all my neighbors in Bahçelievler on this blessed night. May Allah grant us many more of these occasions. With unity and solidarity, as the Republic of Turkey, may our Lord allow us to reach many more kandils. Certainly, we are joyful today. We commemorate our Prophet. We will pray. However, there are those who are not like us. Muslims want to pray and perform their prayers. But some cannot. Palestine, Gaza, West Bank. May our Lord be the helper of all Muslims around the world. Especially save us from this murderous Zionist Netanyahu and his team. We have 42 thousand martyrs. Half of them are children. We Muslims will unite. We may have different thoughts. We may come from different races. We may belong to different sects. We may be from different political parties. The unity of our country is important to us. May our Lord not lower our call to prayer, our flag, and our minarets from the skies of our country.”
