Özgür Özel and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu came together in Antalya.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu served as witnesses at the wedding of CHP Antalya Deputy Mustafa Erdem’s daughter Burcu Erdem and Onur Yavuz.

The wedding of Burcu Erdem and Onur Yavuz took place at a venue in the Muratpaşa district of Antalya. The marriage was officiated by Antalya Metropolitan Mayor Muhittin Böcek, while the wedding witnesses included CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, and other prominent figures.

“I also sent my only daughter abroad yesterday”

During the ceremony, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel handed the marriage certificate to the bride, Burcu Erdem, and wished the couple a lifetime of happiness. Özel also shared that he had asked Mustafa Erdem a personal question during the wedding, saying, “There is something I learned from Mustafa brother by asking him about this wedding. I know that he has an only daughter, Burcu. I also sent my only daughter abroad yesterday. I asked Mustafa brother, ‘How do you marry off such an only daughter?’ He said, ‘It’s very difficult,’ our Chairman said, ‘It’s very difficult.’ With the experience we gained today, hopefully, we will continue to grow our CHP family by taking Mustafa brother under one of our arms. We are very happy to be together.”

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu read the poem “Münevver’s Birthday” by Nazım Hikmet, wishing happiness to the couple. Many CHP deputies, district mayors, and guests attended the wedding ceremony.
