Minister Ersoy gave a date for the Antalya-Alanya Highway.

Speaking at the Provincial Advisory Council Meeting of the AK Party Antalya Provincial Presidency, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy said, “The tender process regarding the Alanya highway has been completed. We can say that the construction process will start within this year, and possibly in November.”

The Provincial Advisory Council Meeting organized by the AK Party Antalya Provincial Presidency took place at the EXPO Antalya Congress Center. Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, who attended the meeting, stated that they continue to work for the future of the country and Antalya, saying, “As the locomotive of tourism, Antalya is a very important city that is at the center of our goals, investments, projects, and successes today, just as it was yesterday. To elevate our Antalya to better points it deserves, we embrace not only successes but also the problems, unlike some groups. We are noting every type of problem that our sector representatives and you, who communicate with our citizens, convey or that we foresee or identify, and we keep it on our agenda until we reach a solution.”

“Our President is closely following this too”

Expressing that they prioritize traffic and transportation issues for Antalya, Minister Ersoy mentioned that the tender process regarding the Alanya highway has been completed. Ersoy stated, “We are working closely with our Minister of Transport and Infrastructure and his team regarding the traffic issue. The tender process regarding the Alanya highway is complete. In addition, the General Directorate of Highways has developed projects regarding the reduction of urban traffic and the relevant junction arrangements. We can say that the construction process will begin this year, and possibly in November. Our President is also closely monitoring this issue.”

“We have to intervene in what local administrations are unable to do”

Reminding that they continue to work in infrastructure and service areas, Minister Ersoy stated, “Of course, our problems are not limited to traffic. We also have to intervene in what local administrations are unable to do in both infrastructure and service areas. As you will recall; after the facility in Serik, we completed the Kemer Wastewater Treatment Plant and opened it before the elections; it is currently operational. In addition, similar complaints regarding infrastructure continue in all districts. Of course, we will find ways to provide services to our citizens by solving these problems step by step.”
