The Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan emphasized the climate of peace in the region, stating, “We do not have a single person to sacrifice to terrorism, nor do we have time to lose with chaos, turmoil, and unrest.”
Minister Işıkhan, who came to Van to participate in a series of meetings and various visits, attended the “Three-Tier Loyalty Meeting” program at the Evliya Çelebi Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School Application Hotel. In his speech here, Minister Işıkhan noted that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emerged from the heart of Anatolia and is a son of this homeland nurtured in the bosom of this nation. Minister Işıkhan stated, “Our party has been in the streets since its establishment and has always been in close contact with our people. The AK Party is a community that opens both its doors and hearts to everyone who carries a sincere love for the homeland; it has never shown ingratitude to any of its members who have served since its founding and shouldered this cause. This special trait is a privilege that only those who have served under our organization’s roof can comprehend. Today, being together here with brothers who have served at every level of our organization from past to present is the clearest indication of this. As a child of this region, I am also a brother who has served for many years in various units of our organization; I am one of your compatriots. During our duties in both party ranks and bureaucratic positions, wherever we went in Turkey, I personally witnessed this gratitude and sincerity in every place where there are AK Party organizations. No one can deny the fact that our organizations see everyone as a richness and a gain of our geography, as long as they do not harbor any ill intentions against our national and spiritual values, and that they walk together in this noble march.”
“Our President raised the strongest voice against the oppression in Gaza”
Işıkhan expressed that they would not bow to the internal and external forces trying to tighten their grip on the nation from all sides under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, saying, “Our President raised the strongest voice against the oppression in Gaza that the world states have ignored. By stating that ‘the world is bigger than five’, our President directed the course of world politics. Following such a noble leader and carrying his ideals is an indescribable honor and happiness for each of us. We have achieved the successes we have gained so far through relentless work together. From now on, we will not stop or hesitate until we reveal the treasures possessed by every corner of our homeland, especially Van. We do not have a single person to sacrifice to terrorism, nor do we have time to lose with chaos, turmoil, and unrest. As we crush the head of terrorism in the region, we see that as we cleanse our region of terror, our region develops, advances, and the prosperity of our nation increases,” he said.
Işıkhan stated that unlike those who waste all their time against the country and the nation, the AK Party is the party of those who work and produce services and values, and continued his words as follows:
“We will continue to walk this sacred path with everyone who works, produces, and lays stone upon stone for the future, without losing sight of this reality, despite all obstacles. As long as we are sincere, as long as we are determined. I sincerely believe that our goal of a century for Turkey will succeed with the determination of the people of Van. We will use every opportunity at our disposal for the leading cities of the Turkey Century. As the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, I want you to know that our doors are always open to you in both our central organization and our provincial directorates.”
